Regional Impacts Backpack

This resource provides educators with materials to help them better understand and teach about the local impacts of climate change in Southern California. It uses real data about wildlife, watersheds, and communities that participants can use to explore local change and learn about what steps students can take to reduce the impacts of climate change. Climate Change 101 Backpack

This resource provides educators with the materials needed to give an overview about climate change science and its implications for natural and human communities and ecosystems. It uses science, art, and storytelling to help students engage with climate change hands-on. This portable, field-ready education kit is ideal for field trips, outdoor locations, and classrooms. Book Club

The Climate Kids Book Club promotes climate literacy for youth in grades K-8, with a variety of books that correspond to 10 actions you can take to help the earth. Book Club resources include a reading guide with background information, discussion questions, and fun hands-on activities, as well as collections of books for grades K-2, 3-5, and 6-8. Resources are also available online at www.climatekids.org.
