In the 2020 City Nature Challenge, locations across the globe will compete to see who finds the most nature and San Diego County is a top contender! With your help, we know San Diego will bring home the win!
Taking part is easy, from April 24-27, take photos of nature while out and about around the County: in your own backyard, during your lunchtime stroll, or join us and our partners at one of the many great events around the county. Upload your photos to iNaturalist.org or use your smartphone and the iNaturalist app. There's no need to know the species you are posting, the iNaturalist community will identify them for you--that's part of the fun.
See below for more information on how you can get started with iNaturalist, join an event, and partner with us.
