The Exhibits Department is seeking people who love lizards, snakes, and bugs to help us keep our live-exhibit animals healthy. Duties include feeding, watering, cleaning, keeping cages beautiful and talking with our Museum visitors. Volunteers need to realize that taking care of live animals requires commitment and responsibility. Animals are housed in both public and nonpublic areas. Reliability is a must. We have Monday and Sunday openings. Volunteers must be available 2–3 hours per week for three months between the hours of 10 AM and 5 PM.

The Development Department is seeking an intern to assist with writing and coordinating membership and annual fund materials, including appeals; renewal letters; developing monthly and annual surveys; updating the website; and other tasks. Must have excellent organization skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; and strong writing skills. Database skills preferred. Background check required. Must be able to commit to a regular one-day-a-week schedule. Hours are flexible, estimated 4–6 hours per week.
