Daily: 10 AM–5 PM

The Museum is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Special Note on Balboa Park Access and Parking:
Saturday, June 1 – San Diego Rock 'N' Roll Marathon:
Southbound Highway 163, between Interstate 805 and downtown, will be closed for ten hours from 2:00 AM until 12:00 PM. Details available on the Rock 'N' Roll Marathon website.

Dinosaur Café
Conveniently located in the atrium of the San Diego Natural History Museum, the café is the ideal place to rest and recharge before or after a visit to the Museum. Managed by the Cohn Restaurant Group, the café features a wide assortment of sandwiches and salads as well as soups, pastries, and gourmet coffee and tea beverages.
