Own a Museum for a Night

Are you looking for a unique setting for your next event?

Positioned perfectly in the heart of San Diego, the San Diego Natural History Museum is just minutes from downtown in Balboa Park. The Park provides an incomparably lush and creative setting. The facility, a historic building built in the 1930s, is part of Balboa Park's rich cultural history. In 2001, the building was restored, modernized and enhanced, offering a space that is truly unique—modern convenience and elegance meets historical refinement.

Your guests will enter into the Sefton Grand Atrium—a stunning and versatile space with a four-story translucent ceiling and granite floors that provides the backdrop to a memorable event. The open spaces encourage guests to explore the Museum's galleries, full of fossils, artifacts and exhibitions that illustrate the science and beauty of nature. From the giant Allosaurus skeleton to exquisite nature photography to a live rattlesnake, your guests will be fascinated.
