On October 3 and 4, the Museum will be open from 10 AM to 6 PM to celebrate Maker Faire San Diego, a two-day, hands-on festival of innovation. The celebration, which takes place throughout the Park and inside many museums, will showcase all kinds of amazing people who make all kinds of amazing things. Makers range from tech enthusiasts and scientists to crafters, artisans, and garage tinkerers, and so much more.
For Maker Faire tickets and information, please visit the Maker Faire San Diego website in advance or visit a Maker Faire ticket booth during the weekend (one will be on the Prado walkway between theNAT and the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center).
Maker Faire ticket holders receive free general admission to theNAT on October 3 and 4. General admission does not include admission to 3D films or Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealed. Maker Faire ticket holders may visit the Admissions Desk to purchase 3D film tickets for $5 each and tickets to Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealed at a discounted rate.
