Fossil Days

From Sunday, March 25 through Sunday, April 1 celebrate Museum President and CEO, Dr. Michael “Mick” Hager’s 20th anniversary at the San Diego Natural History Museum and have a dino-tastic time!

Camp-o-saurus Dino in Tent
  • Dress up like a dinosaur and receive free general admission*
  • Watch the film Sea-Rex 3D
  • Visit the all-new Camp-o-Saurus
  • Draw your favorite dinosaur in crayon or chalk
  • Receive a free dinosaur-themed gift at the Visitor Services desks (while supplies last)
  • Enjoy delicious Dino-specials at the Dino Café
  • Take a docent tour in Fossil Mysteries (Monday-Friday, 1 PM and 1:45 PM)
  • Learn more about the Museum’s Paleontology Department on a guided tour (Monday-Friday, 11 AM; limited to 10 guests on a first-come, first served basis).
  • Watch Museum paleontologists at work in the Hazard Demonstration Lab
