In October, Kids Go Free

In its sixth year, Kids Free in October, presented by ScholarShare, offers San Diegans and tourists the opportunity to visit more museum destinations than ever before, including theNAT. This annual program provides free admission for kids 12 and under at 40 arts, cultural, and science museums in San Diego County with an adult ticket purchase.

During the month of October, children 12 and under will receive free general admission* to theNAT with a paid adult OR can pay $5 to enjoy access to unlimited 2D and 3D films in our giant-screen theater.   

To redeem this offer, download the coupon from the San Diego Museum Council and present in person at the Admissions Desk.

*Free general admission does not include 3D films, but will include the special exhibition Animals: Machines in Motion from October 29-31. Coupon must be presented at time of visit. No retroactive discounts. Limit two free child admissions per paid adult. Cannot be combined with other offers.

$5 = General admission to the Museum + access to the special exhibition Animals: Machines in Motion (October 29-31 only) + unlimited 2D and 3D films in the giant-screen theater

Note: Maker Faire in Balboa Park is October 1 and 2, and theNAT is participating by featuring several makers within the Museum. Kids who visit theNAT during that weekend and receive free admission as part of Kids Free in October will be able to participate in maker activities inside the Museum. To participate in maker activities outside the Museum, visitors must purchase a Maker Faire ticket.
