Kick off the Museum’s 140th anniversary at the October 30 Annual Meeting.  This is the one night a year where members are invited to go behind the scenes at the Museum! Join us for a night of family fun, starting with a presentation on the history of the Museum and learn how this fascinating institution was started by a group of amateur scientists in 1874.  We’ll then open the doors to our offices, classrooms, and labs so you can meet our researchers, explore our collections, and see a preview of our newest exhibition in the making—Coast to Cactus in Southern California—opening January 17, 2015.  Current members will receive an invitation in September with registration information.
