The 2006 Dos Aguilas Binational Fiesta was a wonderful event. It was an evening in which we celebrated the successes of the Museum as well as the accomplishments of the evening’s two honorees, Christy Walton of Jackson Hole, WY and National City, CA and Rodolfo Ogarrio of Mexico City. The silent auction and entertainment were superb and the epicurean tasting dinner with restaurants and beverage companies from both sides of the border was exceptional.
The event netted over $168,000 which will provide critical support to the Museum’s binational research and education programs which include exciting exhibitions and films, children’s programs and outreach programs. Monies raised will also help further the Museum’s mission to publicly express its commitment to binational understanding, education and partnership within the Southern California and Baja California peninsula region.
