Boxed note cards with beautiful reproductions of selected Valentien images are now available in our store. Elegant scarves, placemats and coasters, with designs based on Valentien's pantings, are also available. A full-color book produced by the Irvine Museum in collaboration with the San Diego Natural History Museum was published in December 2003. This book describes the history of Valentien's work at Rookwood Pottery and in California, the historical context of his achievements in the Arts and Crafts period, and the importance of the biodiversity and conservation of native California habitats.
