A helicopter —essential to this expedition —comes in for its first landing on the sportfishing boat, Shogun. The helicopter platform was installed especially for the expedition. After equipment and supplies were loaded, the boat moved out into San Diego Bay, and the helicopter made a perfect landing—as if it had landed on the Shogun hundreds of times before. —Dale Clark, June 2000
