Breezy, white-capping conditions in the morning thwarted attempts to see dolphins and whales as the Nature Cruise ventured to Los Coronados Islands. The seas calmed by the time we reached the Islands, and the sea lions, elephant seals, harbor seals and many nesting birds delighted all the passengers. Shortly after departing the Islands, Captain Ben announced a blow was seen---and what a blow it was---a magnificent blue whale! Saturday's cruise turned into another fantastic day on the water.
